Question

Drop down menu for data entry fields is missing under Medical Expenses

Right clicking on a data entry field normally shows a drop down menu with "Mark as Estimated", "Add supporting details", etc.  However, in interview mode, when I go to Medical Expenses (under Deductions & Credits), none of the data entry fields on those pages have this drop down menu available, so I can't set any of them as Estimated.

From AnnetteB:

If you are using the CD/downloaded version of Turbotax, you can mark and unmark date entries as "estimated" by either using the F8 key on your keyboard or by going to Edit on the top row of the program and clicking Mark as Estimated or Unmark Estimated (if it is already marked).

Your cursor needs to be in the entry field to change the "mark".

Ah, thank you.  I totally forgot about the Edit menu for that, having gotten so accustomed to using the drop down menu since it's more convenient.  But F8 seems even more convenient, which I did not know about.

But it does seem like a bug that the drop down menu is missing for those (and maybe other pages/forms).
