E-File Not Allowed Due to State Return Not Complete but I have no State Return

Hi,

I am to the point ready to E-File my federal return in a state without a state income tax, but I am receiving a message saying "You haven't finished this (Arizona) return yet. Return to your Arizona program to finish, and then you should be able to file."

How do I clear this since I do not have a state form to clear.

If Arizona is a no tax state then why not try and complete it in Turbo tax to see what happens. Why did you download the Arizona state module if you dont need it?.

There is a Turbotax state tool that would let you remove the state. Can't say for sure that it would work.

Yes, Arizona does have a state income tax, but if you don't need to file, or don't want to file your Arizona tax return, you can skip it.

To delete, or skip your state return:

Sign in to your TurboTax account.
Select State Taxes, then Edit.
Select Your State Returns.
If you see Arizona listed, select the trash can to the right to delete the return.
Confirm that you want to delete the return.
Select Done with State in the lower right corner.
