E-Filed 2020 Federal Return, Remains in Pending for several weeks and acceptance date under IRS acceptance keeps changing

I E-Filed 2020 Federal Return several weeks ago and it has remained in Pending for that time. The acceptance date under IRS acceptance keeps changing, moving out further and further.  I have received 2 messages from TurboTax indicating that I paid for e-filing, but my returns have not been e-filed and I should click on file and send, but there is no option to do so when I sign in.  There is also no option to verify that the return has been in fact sent, except for the bar graph saying it is pending.  What and where can I get this information and verify that my return has indeed been sent?
