E Filing Problem

I've been doing  my in-laws' taxes for several years with no problems.  When I tried to e-file for 2019, it rejected because it said the amount I entered for 2018 AGI did not match the actual number on the 2018 form.  But it is exactly the same.  The only thing different from prior years is that my mother-in-law passed away in Jan, 2020, and the error message makes a reference to the spouse.  Any thoughts?

I am sorry about you mom-in-law,

Yes, because the Social Security Administration blocks the Social Security Numbers of deceased persons to prevent fraud, it is almost always impossible to e-file a tax return that includes a deceased spouse.

Print your in-laws return and file by mail.
