Each of my children(2 of them) get $14,784 a year of survival benefits , do i have to report that?

No.  You do not enter that on your own tax return.   If someday the children have OTHER income besides the Social Security, then they will enter their SSA1099 on their own tax return, but until then, it does not get entered anywhere.

Is it from Social Security on a SSA-1099 form?  You don't include their income on your return. It would only go on their return if they are required to file one. If they only got Social Security or SSDI or ssi they don’t have to file a return and nobody reports it.

If the survival benefits are their only income, they are not taxable and you do not have to file a tax return for them.
