Earning money in other states--where to file taxes?

I earn all of my income from California but am a full-time resident of Illinois. My paycheck is taxed directly through Illinois--do I still need to file taxes in California?

Not unless you do your job in California, it doesn't matter where the company headquarters are.    If you work in Illinois for a CA company, your income is Illinois income.   It is where you do the work that matters.
