I am from Ohio, so we dont have any state electric bike credit. However, the federal government passed a law allowing for a 30% tax credit on electric bikes under $4000. When filing my taxes I did not see how to get this credit.

Thanks

The credit for an energy efficient two-wheeled vehicle is entered on IRS Form 8936, Qualified Plug-in Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit

The Form 8936 is scheduled to be finalized in TurboTax on 02/21/2024 (subject to change)

Go to this TurboTax website for forms availability - https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product=Turbotax_online&bu=cg

For an energy-efficient vehicle tax credit

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)
    Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Cars and Other Things You Own
On Energy-Efficient Vehicles, click the start or update button

    Original answer has been edited.

The credit for qualified 2-wheeled plug-in electric vehicles expired in 2022. If you bought a 2-wheeled vehicle in 2021, but placed it in service during 2022, you may still be able to claim the credit for 2022. If you bought it after 2021, you can't claim the credit
