EFILE REJECT - Due to incorrect SS counts towards 5 max files?

I used an incorrect ss and tried to fix it but it is not accepting the file saying that was my 5th file. Does that count even though it rejected?

    E-file rejections are not considered as part of the limit of five returns.  This would only apply to successfully e-filed return.
