Question

efiling for federal &filing by mail for state &transmission won't go thru- records indicate that you are not entitled to e-file one or more formsets. Help?

i have the correct options checked for each return & it won't let me transmit either

This error message appears if there are forms that are not available yet.  I recommend updating your software to make sure it is up to date with the latest changes and then review and e-file again.

 

This can be done by logging into your desktop product.  Select Online in the menu on the top, and then select Check for Updates.

 

 

If that does not update your program, you can also manually update your program.
