Elderly Parent 2848 and CAF

My father is in memory care.

Last year I did his taxes and submitted 2848 and received a CAF#.

When I file this year, do I need to submit with a 2848 again or since the CAF indicates years 2022-2024 can I simply e-file w/out supplemental forms?

Since your POA covers 2023 tax return you can just e-file as preparer.

    When To Use Form 2848

A CAF number is a unique nine-digit identification number and is assigned the first time you file a third party authorization with IRS. A letter is sent to you informing you of your assigned CAF number. Use your assigned CAF number on all future authorizations.
