"Did you, or someone on your behalf, file a 2019 tax return with the IRS last year?"

    -We filed a return together.

Enter last year's AGI here:  Don't guess, an incorrect AGI can cause your return to be rejected.

I absolutely indicated that we filed jointly, so last year's taxes are only showing one AGI amount on line 8B.  I don't want to have the return rejected, obviously.  Will it be?  Why does TurboTax insist on two amounts when one return is selected?  Thank you.

When you file a joint return the AGI is the same for each one of you.   You just have to enter that same amount twice.   That AGI is associated in the IRS system with each of your SSN's.

Thank you.  That seems like reporting twice the income.
