Question

Employer did not withhold FICA taxes. They are trying to fix, have me pay amt owed, and correct W2 but can't get done before tax deadline. How should I file extension?

Not accounting for owed FICA taxes, I am owed a refund. When filing for an extension, should I pre-pay owed FICA taxes?

Do I need a W2 re-issued?

I've heard that social security and medicare taxes are completely separate?
