I entered the real estate taxes and property taxes on separate lines, but Turbo Tax lumped both amounts on the State and Local Real Estate Taxes line - Turbo Tax didn't do this in prior years.

The limit for SALT----state and local tax--- is capped at $10K for itemizing deductions on Schedule A.

TurboTax totaled them together because real estate taxes and property taxes are the same thing and there's a limit to the amount of state and local taxes that you can deduct on your Schedule A.  The most that you can deduct is $10,000 ($5,000 if you are filing as Married Filing Separately).

Refer to the TurboTax article What's the difference between real estate tax, property tax, and personal property tax?
