entering deductions

Why does the screen go blank when I try to put in a deduction.  I like to enter them on my Federal and have it transfer to state.  I had this problem last year and ended up using another software.  I like TurboTax but this is a deal breaker for me.

    If you are using the online version, try to log out and sign back in the program.  If it does not work,  clear your cache before sign back into the program.
