Error in TurboTax 2024. Does not omit WA from states that require no state income tax

In doing my 2024 taxes using TurboTax Premier 2024, on the page that has the question "Did Either of You Make Money in Any Other States?" it does not omit Washington state from the list of states. TurboTax states "Leave No Entry if you only received income in Alaska, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee or Wyoming. You don't pay income tax in these states." However, when I look at the official Washington state tax site (https://dor.wa.gov/taxes-rates/income-tax) it says "No income tax in Washington state. Washington state does not have a personal or corporate income tax...". Furthermore, I double-checked and in my TurboTax 2023, Washington state was specifically excluded.

Can you please clarify why TurboTax 2024 does not exclude Washington state from payment of income taxes?

Washington state does not have a personal income tax so WA should not be included in the states list for where you made money outside of your resident state.  The will be corrected in a future update.

In the meantime just leave no entry.

There are some Washington credits you can file for.  If you don't want to file WA, here's How to Delete a State in TurboTax Desktop and How to Delete a State in TurboTax Online.
