Question

Error with my birthdate is preventing me from filing electronically, but i know for a fact that my birthday is correct, i have checked it 6 times already! WTF?!?!?!?!

It is entered in two places so check it in both places.

Once in the Personal Information section

Then once in the e-file section.

It must match and agree with Social Security records.

If it still rejects, check with Social Security Admin.

My daughter had this problem. Social Security had entered her birthday as 1 Dec 1981, instead of the correct 17 Dec 1981. We had to show them a birth certificate (and a passport) to get it fixed. Then IRS would take her return. But since Social Security can really delay things, we filed on paper for that year.
