ESPP Wrong Company name listed on Form 8949

The company I work for was acquired in 2024 by a publicly traded company. I was granted access to a ESPP program with the new parent company. My W2 for 2024 was from the old company while my shares are granted from the new parent company.

On form 8949 it says I received shares in the old company when I indicated on my 1099-B they are from the new company.

I think this might be a bug in TurboTax. I have shared my return under token 9130347280882486-88426229.

Your w2 from the old company shows your additional basis in the stock. As long as the proceeds match up, the IRS won't worry about the name. Be sure you enter your cost basis plus the amount included in your w2
