Estimated tax payments for 2023

Estimated tax payments for 2023 must I pay or can I just adjust my W-4 for the 2024 year to cover the amount owed?

    The estimated tax forms 1040-ES for tax year 2024 are for your use only.  They are not reported to the IRS unless you use them and mail a payment the the form to the IRS.  Adjusting your W-4 would be a very good solution.

    Thank you!.  So I do NOT have to pay the estimated tax, I can just adjust my W-4 for 2024, correct?
