Excess Roth IRA contribution

I'm married, filing separately and I did not live with my spouse at any time last year. TT Home and Business 2019 CD claims the MFS income limit for Roth IRA contributions is $10,000. IRS states that limit is for MFS, but lived together last year. IRS states the income limit for MFS and not living together is $139,000. Please fix.

You must revisit the Personal Information section, edit your spouse's information, Continue

  1. Select Any That Apply page, mark the box to indicate that you did not live with your spouse at any time between July 1 and December 31
  2. Then mark the box to indicate that you lived apart from your spouse the entire year.
  3. This should allow you to deduct the full amount of your contribution.
