My mother is 94 and her driver's license has expired. Will she be able to e-file next year without a valid driver's license?

As another possibility, if you are worried about it.  Many States offer a non-Driver's ID.

A non-driver's ID would likely not expire....but you might need to take her to a Driver's Lisc. site to get it as they usually need an updated photograph.

The non-driver's ID  might be required in her state if she wants to vote in any upcoming elections too, and that requirement keeps changing from state to state.
