How do I get the Fair Market Value (FMV) on the date of death for inherited house in China?
Chine doesn't pay property tax so there is no government tax assessment.
In the United States you would hire a professional appraiser to determine the fair market value. There is probably a similar service available in China. A local real estate agent can probably recommend an appraiser.
