This year my spouse got SSN and used it to file federal, but got rejected for wrong AGI. I tried may things but didn't work. Finally I put back her ITIN which was used last year , then federal got accepted. Do you see any issue here? How do I update my spouse SSN ?

The time between the Social Security administration changing the information until it is passed to the IRS and updated in their system can take a few months. if you are missing credits due to the ITIN, you can submit an amended return later with the correct information.

I would recommend you e-file an amended return before October 15. E-filing will shorten the refund delay. Please:
