Fidelity offer

The Fidelity offer page says that Premier on-line will be free, but the link below indicates a price of $69 for federal only with state extra ... which is correct?

Correct...you must log into your Fidelity account first, then scroll down to the TurboTax link on the main Fidelity page that first opens up... that directs you to TTX, and use that link:

I'm following these instructions and everything works just fine until I log in to TurboTax. Even though I followed the instructions, once I'm logged in, I'm prompted for payment.

Yep...hoped they would have that fixed by now...but apparently not.

 

Best procedure might be to call your Fidelity rep, and let them know it's not working.  Something ahs to be done between the Fidelity cookie (or however they are transferring the "discount") and the TTX acceptance of that discount.

 

This can only be worked out Between Fidelity and TTX computer staff...but they may need more call-ins complaining before they realize it's a real problem.   At this late date, you may just end up paying and grumbling...unless they have a quick fix.
