Fiduciary last name is lost by TT Business 2021

I moved since last year's return.  So I edited my address on the Here's Your Summary screen.  It says (because the Trustee is a person) the IRS now requires the Trustee's first and last names must now be entered separately.  Ok; did that.

But by the time I get to the Let's Verify Name and Address screen, it's forgotten I have a last name.  (The Form still has it correctly; only the step-by-step screen has lost my last name.)

Where can I report that software bug?

You can contact Support via the link below.

What is the TurboTax phone number? (intuit.com)

I finally called support.  Unfortunately, we made no progress on my first problem (see explanation of the support challenge on https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/tt-business-2021-has-infinite-loop-for-change-of-trustee-address/01/2579739/highlight/true#M924697), so we never tried to work out this problem.  Here's what I sent her about this problem.

To get out of the infinite loop in TurboTax (which was my "first problem" above), I unchecked the boxes at the bottom of “Here’s your summary” and pressed continue.  Then TT goes to the page titled:

  • Change in Trust Name, where I clicked no, and continue. Then TT went to:
  • Let’s Verify Name and Address – that's where this problem appears: my last name is missing in the Fiduciary Name.  (But when I flip to the Forms view, my last name DOES appear in the Fiduciary's 'last name' field.)

Because my name appears correctly on the Forms view, that probably means the electronic return sent to the IRS would be correct; so a user might decide to ignore this bug.

It would great if someone could report these bugs directly to Intuit developers, rather than trying to do it through the contract customer support company.
