Filing 1040-X 1040-V has incorrect address and steps are weird

Filing 1040-X, due to missed 1099-DIV, and I printed out the 1040-V form for Federal and the voucher has the Kansas City, MO address in the mail in portion, but the top has the Louisville, KY address. I'm guessing this is a mistake in the program and it should be the Louisville, KY address.

Secondly, the program is doing an audit check and getting somewhat confused on the IL portion as I have to file the Federal and have it accepted 1st? Guessing I have to come back to the program after I get an acceptance from Federal?

You should be able to do the state and federal amended at the same time.

You are right about the voucher address. Form 1040-V filing addresses for a taxpayer. I pulled it up on my system and could not find the discrepancy you have. I see all 4 addresses listed on the top and the correct one for my state on the bottom. I tried with various states to replicate your issue.

Did you go through the steps, complete to the audit? When going through the steps, it flagged at the audit step saying I needed a date that the Federal amended tax was accepted. Further investigation indicated IL required the Federal amended tax return to be accepted and provide proof.

Regarding the addresses, I couldn't tell if you were able to see the issue with the mis-matched addresses or not for the Federal amendment. I'm assuming the reason for the mis-matched addresses are due to Federal amendments being mailed to KC while Payments are sent to Louisville, KY. Let me know if you would like me to scan in a copy of the mis-matched addresses.
