Filing 2021 taxes late and I changed addresses mid 2022...which address do I put?

I am filing my 2021 taxes late and as you go through TurboTax, it asks for your address.  It specifies when you enter this in that this is where the IRS will send correspondence to and that the address might be different from where you actually live.  However, as I'm using the 2021 version of TurboTax, everything is formatted to assume that this is the CURRENT year's tax return (syntax doesn't change to account for filing late).

So under my address information for federal is my current address, same for Missouri (where I work), and same for Illinois (where I used to live).  However, I noticed on the Illinois form, it states my current Missouri residence, but the Illinois county where I used to live.

My question is: If I am submitting late, should I put my address in to TurboTax as if I was living at the Illinois residence I would've been at if I submitted on time?

Use the address where you want the IRS or state to send you a letter or a check.   That would be the address where you are now.
