how can we save work and then going back later?

    TurboTax Online, please see this help article: How do I save my work in TurboTax Online?

     

     If you are in the desktop version, select File in the upper left and then Save, to save your progress. You may also want to consider saving a backup of your return as well. Please see How do I back up my tax file in the TurboTax CD/Download software? for more information.
