Filing A Child On Taxes who Works But Pays No Rent

Hello,

Quick question on the ability to file my daughter on my taxes.

She turned 18 in December of 2020.

She has lived with me the entire 2020 and obviously pays no rent because she was 17 at the time.

In 2020 she made over $12,000 working P/T.

She has filed her own taxes this year and got a pretty good amount back.

Since I still supported here all of 2020, can I file her on my taxes since I was still head of household?

I don't want a link to a website or IRS webpage, this is a very specific question, and if you don't have the answer then pass me by...If you have nothing to offer then just move to another question.

The IRS website is simple scenario's that DO NOT apply to ALL situations.

Thanks in advance!

Since she was under age 19 and she did not provide more than half of her support you can claim her.
