I'm trying to file my 2024 property tax located in MN, but as I  paid the 2nd installment of my 2024 property tax in 2025 resulted it to be delinquent. My question is do i have to file claim my 2024 property tax refund on 2025 taxes "Considering that the 2nd installment was paid in 2025"?

You can enter property tax for the year in which you actually paid the tax; what matters is when you paid it--not what year it was "for."

Thank you. So,  I can  claim the 1st installment that I paid in 2024 on my 2024 tax return, and claim the 2nd installment on 2025 tax return, am I correct?
