Filing Electronically but owe taxes' paying by check

To whom it may concern,

I just filed my taxes electronically and the return has been accepted by the IRS.  However, I owe taxes and will be mailing a check.  Besides the Voucher and the check, do I need to mail anything else to the designated address on the Voucher?

Thank you.

No, you only need to mail the voucher and your payment.

That’s all you have to do.

The only items that need to be mailed are the Payment Voucher, Form 1040-V, and your check for the taxes owed.  That is it, nothing else.

It would be a good idea to use certified mail to mail the 1040V and your check so that you will know the IRS received it.   Write your SSN's on the memo part of the check.  If you e-filed your Form 1040, you do not have to mail anything else.
