Filing Form 8824?
I need to file several Form 8824s because I'm reporting deferred capital gains on Part IV, with a certificate of divestiture. But I have two questions:
1) Currently, in TurboTax, each Form 8824 says in big red letters at the top right: DO NOT FILE. Can you please tell me what that is all about? Is it possible that TurboTax still needs to update that form?
2) How do I ensure that the Form 8824s are indeed included when I file electronically? Will that happen automatically, or do I need to attach them somehow (as pdfs)? if so, how do I do that?
