Can my daughter in law and I both file Head of  house? My daughter in law and I both stay in same house. She provides for herself  and we both buy our own food. We both stay in separate rooms.  She pays her own bills except the utilities bills are in my name.

No.   On order to file as HOH you must have a qualified dependent and pay OVER half of the household expenses.

Am I Head of Household?

If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your marital status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.
