My husband worked for two months last year and made 6,289. If we file jointly, can I claim him as a dependent? And do I include the amount he earned?

A spouse is never a dependent.  Just file a Joint return even if they have little or no income.  Yes enter all the income for the both of you.  A joint return is 1 return combined for the both of you.

No, you can not claim a spouse as a dependent.

Yes you will include his income on the joint tax return.

You do get a step up in the standard deduction.

The standard deduction amounts for 2024 are:

    • $29,200 – Married Filing Jointly
    • $14,600 – Single
