Filing past tax return and which turbo tax software

If someone can answers questions regarding filing past tax return, I appreciate it very much.

1. I need to file tax year 2023. I bought turbo tax online and was granted extension but never finished. What do I need to do to finish it?

2. I mailed my 2022 tax return after deadline. The mailed return was 50 pages long. I googled see where to mail it. I think turbo tax said to mail it to the nearest IRS office, which in my case was Birmingham, Al. Month later, it was returned back to me? Do I mail it back again. Thanks
