My wife lives and works in New York while I live and work in New Jersey. I'm attempting to file the New York return as Married Filing Jointly with my wife as a resident and myself as a nonresident but TurboTax is telling me that my wife can't be filed as a resident:
Is there something that I'm doing wrong? or can I ignore this error? I don't see the option to select taxpayer instead of spouse
