Filling 1095-A- low income- but no credit for health premium

Not sure what is going on-  TT not printing form 8962 and showing zero on line 26 of the form.  It's as if the place where 1095-A is entered is not linked to anything.  I waited until tax time to hopefully get a refund on marketplace premiums, but now I get nothing with AGI less than $50K.

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, enacted on March 11, 2021, suspended the requirement to repay excess advance payments of the premium tax credit (excess APTC) for tax year 2020. If you already filed a 2020 return and reported excess APTC or made an excess APTC repayment, you don’t need to file an amended return or take any other action.

This is not a discount on or a refund of your premium, it is forgiveness for taxpayers who normally would have paid back some or all of the credit.

Taxpayers who did not pay the premium tax credit, will not receive any refund.  Since you have not yet filed, you will not be charged a premium tax credit even if one would have been required.

Thanks for your reply.  My problem is not about repaying advance payments-  it’s the opposite.  I never received any premium tax credit in 2020 and the idea was to get them in my tax returns.  But I’m not getting anything on TT and not sure why as my income qualifies.

Replying to myself and hopefully helping someone with a similar problem.  You need to go to Deduction and Credits > Medical > Health coverage tax credit.

If you search for form 1095-A, go to the page, fill out the monthly amounts, policy last numbers, etc., you're in the wrong place for the Health Coverage Tax Credit and the 8962.

When I go to the forms view and try to see where the numbers from 8962 come from, I am taken to someplace else, not the page on the Medical> Health coverage tax credit.  So, something is odd.
