Question

For 2019, is turbo tax online using 10% for medical expense deductions, or is it still using 7.5%? Some Intuit documentation says 7.5% and some says 10%.

The Schedule A in the 2019 TurboTax program has been updated for the 7.5% of AGI for medical expenses.

Your reply makes me MORE nervous actually. The tax law changed for 2019 and it should have been updated FROM 7.5% to 10%. Has turbo tax online been updated to 10%?

From IRS Pub 502

How Much of the Expenses Can You Deduct?

Generally, you can deduct on Schedule A (Form 1040 or 1040-SR) only the amount of your medical and dental expenses that is more than 7.5% of your AGI.
