Question

For entering dependent care benefits, do I put the amount from my W2 box 10? It is asking me to put schedule e line 19. I don't have a schedule E.

Yes, you can use the figure in Box 10 on your W-2, but it's better to use the actual amount you paid a care provider. You are allowed to use $3,000 per dependent, up to a total of $6,000 to calculate the credit.  Box 10 is the of amount of dependent care benefits your employer has included in your wages reported in Box 1.
