For Schedule SE-T If I do not wish to defer taxes, do I simply report $0 for line 18 ?

On part 3 line 18 of form SE maximum deferral of self employment tax payments, does that mean if the client made est. tax pymts?  Or does that mean client can defer paying self employment tax? Or can I put down 0 if client does not want to defer paying self employment tax. Thank you

Yes, you can enter $0 for Line 18. But, you may need to try entering nothing at all if the system will not allow you to enter 0.

 

No, Part 3 Line 18 for SE Maximum deferral of self-employment tax payments means the tax for 2020 income.

Yes, it means the client can defer paying self-employment tax.

Yes, you can enter 0 since you do not want to defer paying self-employment tax.
