For the e-file limitation is a joint return 1 or 2 returns?

I understand the IRS limitation of 5 e-file returns, but does a married couple filing jointly count as 1 return or 2 returns since it covers 2 people? I would guess 1 but want to be sure.

A joint return is ONE tax return. All of your combined information has to be on that one joint return.
