Foreign Tax Credit

I am using Turbo Tax Desktop in the step by step mode. I am in the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid portion Deductions and Credits section and I am showing a Foreign Taxes credit of $8. I cannot get it to go away. I did not make any foreign income or pay any foreign taxes so I am not sure why this credit is showing up. I went back through all the income steps and don't see anything that might have triggered the credit. How can I get this cleared out? Thanks

It depends. Check to see if you have any 1099 INT with an amount in Box 6 or 1099 DIV with an amount listed in Box 7. It may also show up on a K-1. Check all your entries. If you see it in any of these forms, you may remove it.
