I received form 1095-B TURBOTax Shows Form 1095-A, are both the same?

    No, they are not the same.

     

    Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace Statement, is provided by the Marketplace to individuals who enrolled or who have enrolled a family member in health coverage through the Marketplace. 

     

    Form 1095-B is informational only the IRS does NOT need any details from this form. The form verifies you had health insurance coverage. You can keep any 1095-B forms that you get from your employer for your records.
