Form 1116 worksheet Error

I have one error in my return. Form 1116 work sheet displays "$0" for line 1j and 1i and the error message reads that LIne 1j "Collectables (28%) Capital Gain" should have a value of at least $1000 based upon the 1099 DIV worksheets attached to this country, yet none of the 1099 DIV worksheets indicate any value in Box 2d for Collectibles (28% ) Capital Gain.

If I manually add the $1000 to he worksheet, the error clears but another error comes up for Line 1i "Section 1250 (25%) capital gains should have a value of at least $100 based upon the 1099 DIV worksheets attached to this country.

If I manually add this figure, the error clears and I get a new error that says the values of lines 1i ands 1j add up to more that line 1h Total Qualified Capital Gains

This is a software error that has appeared for several years. Some workarounds work some of the time. One that you might try is to insert a zero into the 1099 -DIV box 2d.
