Hi.  Part 1 line 6 form 2210 is indicating the incorrect amount of withheld taxes so that I get an error message if I check part II section D that the withholding amount of all 4 columns does not equal line 6 part I.    When I click on line 6 to see where the figure came from it takes me to the form which has a different number on it.

Line 6 part 1 indicates a higher amount than the addition of all withholdings by about 5000.  I cannot find the source of the problem.  Thanks.  kenneth 16.

Examine Form 1040 lines 25a, 25b and 25c.  Does line 25c show the amount in question?

Thank you.  Line 25 c is empty.  Lines 25a and 25b show the correct amount of withholding. 25 a and 25 b doe not equal the amount on line 6 part 1 of 2210.  Ken

That's strange.  It's hard to imagine how the amount on line 6 of Form 2210 is not the same as the amount on line 25d of Form 1040 unless you've applied an override.  If you are using the CD/download version of TurboTax, I suggest copying the tax file to another were you can experiment by removing various items of income to see what it takes to eliminate the discrepancy.
