Question

Form 2210 Line D asks for withholding amount by quarter, but turbotax software is only showing 3 fields instead of 4. Has anyone solved how to do this?

The 4th field would have been the amounts through the end of the year.  You cannot manipulate this amount, because it's the full year amount as reported on your tax return.

Yes, that is how it is on the input screen, but then when it imports that into the actual tax worksheet, it's a mismatch, as the worksheet is asking for amount within each quarter, rather than the cumulative. But turbotax puts in the first 3 cumulative figures, and then i get an error that I cant file until correcting that the columns don't sum up to the correct total. Any way to fix this, or do I have to print it and fix by hand then mail rather than efile returns?

You can make changes to this if you are using the desktop program directly on the form.  Not in the online program.

But you should take a look at the math that you've entered and be very careful about what you're putting in those columns.  You would think that the IRS would be asking for the four quarters entered one at a time and added together but that is not what they have asked for at all.  Read it carefully and make sure that your math adds up.
