Form 4868 payment

I filed form 4868 for a 1040 form extension for 2024. However, the payment failed, and I received notice after the deadline. How do I make the payment now?

    You can make payment directly on the IRS website here.

    if you filed the Form on or before April 15th, you don't have to make a payment to get an extension of time to file.

     

    If your request did not go through, paying now won't help you.
