Form 6475 for 2022. Two Questions.

Question 1:Will it be required to enter form 6475 for this year? I filed it already for 2021 and claimed the kids on a married filing seperately return with my own form 6475.

Question 2: My husband tried to file with his own form 6475, no dependents and it showed he owed. As result of the debt he did not file. Can he file form 6475 for 2021 with this year or skip it? Would filing together be best? Is this a CPA question? thank you.

There is no letter 6475 for tax year 2022 since there were no federal stimulus checks issued for 2022.  There is no place on a 2022 tax return to enter anything about stimulus checks.

As for your spouse.....he can still file a 2021 tax return.   If you filed married filing separately for 2021 then your MFS return can be amended to a joint return and your spouse will need to enter his letter on that return.   Spouse will put all of his information on the amended return.
