If I need to file form 8379 with my taxes return for 2024 how do I do that if I’m using TurboTax to file?

Can I submit the form electronically with my return?

Form 8379 is an injured spouse claim. Here's how to prepare it in TurboTax.

Go to Federal Taxes > Other Tax Situations.
Scroll down to the "Other Tax Forms" section near the bottom of the page, and click the Start or Update button for "Miscellaneous tax forms."
On the next screen, click the Start button for "Report an injured or innocent spouse claim."
Read the screens carefully. You want injured spouse relief, not innocent spouse relief. You will first get two screens for innocent spouse relief. Just click Continue without entering anything. Then you will get a series of screens for injured spouse relief.

One of the screens will ask you whether you want to file the injured spouse claim with your 2024 tax return. Select Yes and the form will be included in your tax return. It can be e-filed.
