Question

Form 8453-PE has the wrong date on it. the information wks has the correct date. How do I overwrite this?

To be able to adequately answer your question we would need to know which date you are referring to in your question. Is it the date on your signature or the date on the ERO / Paid Preparer signature? 

 

What date is on the form and what date should be on the form.

On 02/19/24 - Signature date on 8453_PE defaults to 03/01/24.  There is no way to override this entry.

If there is no way to override this, then how do you fix the issue if it is making your return be rejected?
