Question

Form 8615 is pissing me off it told me to leave it blank so I did and now it’s not working. Soooo that’s cool

Form 8615 is used to figure your child's tax on unearned income.

If you need to correct the information reported on Form 8615 : 

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to Federal Taxes.
  3. Go to Wages and Income.
  4. Scroll down to Less Common Income and click show more.
  5. Scroll down to Child's Income (Under Age 24) and click revisit.

If you don't need to add form 8615 to your return, delete the form:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. From the left menu select Tax Tools then Tools.
  3. Select delete a form.
  4. Locate the form and click delete next to it. 
**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
